Christmas at Aunt Leslie's

We celebrated Christmas with Papaw Bine at Aunt Leslie's house this year.  It was so much fun to watch the kids open their surprises.  They were spoiled again with lots of goodies.  Enjoy the pics!

Merry Christmas!

We had so much fun spending this wonderful, Christmas day at home.  It was perfect!  Here are a few highlights that we want to remember:

* Drew gave each of us a hug after opening every present.

*  Alivia LOVED her American Girl doll.

*  There were Nerf guns for the whole family under the tree.  And we played with them all day!

*  Santa's reindeer left pieces of carrots on the deck. :)

*We watched one of our new movies, "Turbo".  Mommy really just needed the kids to calm down for a little bit!

*  Drew was so excited about his jersey that he immediately put it on and wore it the rest of the day.  He and Daddy played many games of catch with his new Colts football.

* We put together 7 or our 8 new Disney puzzles.

We're feeling truly blessed and remembering the greatest gift of all...Happy Birthday, Jesus!

The kids opened thier new jammies tonight and wore them while we drove around looking at Christmas lights.  They enjoyed popcorn as a snack, too. Thanks to my good friend for suggesting this as a fun tradition.  The kids love it!

It was lots of fun celebrating Christmas at Nanny & Papaw's today!  We loved the company, enjoyed Hap's and Bruno's and are so thankful for the gifts.  Thanks for a great day!

 Happy 6th Birthday, Alivia!  It seems like just yesterday we brought you home from the hospital.  We're so blessed to have a daughter who's smart, funny, loving and ALL girl.  We can't wait to see what God has in store for you.  We love you all the way to the moon and back!

Another first in our house this week - Alivia's first phone call from a friend!  Emery called yesterday afternoon to see if Alivia was going to the school skating party.  I must admit, it was pretty cute...cute enough to sucker us into spending the evening at the Roller Cave. :) Now the question is do we get her a cell phone for her 6th birthday or get a home phone so she's not giving out my number to all of her friends.  I really didn't think this would be an issue so soon!

The kids received letters in the mail from Santa on Saturday.  They were so excited to hear that Santa knows exactly what they want for Christmas.  He even said they're on his 'nice' list.  (Thanks, Aunt Leslie!  Such a cute idea!!)

I also heard Drew tell Alivia the other day that he "just prayed to God."  When she asked what he prayed for, he said "I prayed that God would tell Santa that I want legos for Christmas.  And he's going to tell him!"

We were fortunate to get a visit with Richard and Debby this morning.  They spoiled the kids with fun games and silly straws.  We're so thankful for this friendship!
