School Shoes

One of their favorite days all summer is shopping for new school shoes with Aunt Leslie. So happy we could do it again this year. Now let's hope we get back in school before they outgrow them!

Trying Something New

Drew has wanted to play football for quite a while, but we've always been hesitant. We finally gave in this year and he's loving it! He's got so much natural talent that he could truly play just about any position. It didn't take long for the coach to see it either. In no time at all, he was one of two kids throwing the ball in practice. 

More Baseball

The season may have had a late start but with no school, most people working from home and no signs of us returning to normal anytime soon, we're playing baseball as much as we can. To be honest, the ballpark is the only place that resembles normal. Most people don't wear masks because we're outside. Drew's team is playing in a Wednesday night league in Mooresville just to get some extra games in. A double-header makes for a late night, but we're not complaining. 

Corona Diaries: Antibody Test

Free antibody testing is now being offered so I took advantage. We stopped one day on our way to Castleton mostly because I was curious. The kids did great. This was Drew's first lab draw, so he was a little unsure, but the bowl of suckered on the counter was just the encouragement he needed. Liv had blood work done when she was sick in March, so she knew what to expect.  Now we wait for the results! 

Happy 4th of July!

We spent the 4th in Logansport this year. The day started with a river float and ended with fireworks at the Shannon's. So fun!
