I should probably apologize from the beginning for so many pictures. We had so much fun at the Colts preseason game and I got a little camera happy. :) We were able to see some Riley friends, ran into Papaw Bine and Ms. Karen, watched Kitt O'brien (former Cass King) play and just enjoyed the Lucas Oil excitement. Go Colts!

Welcome Hudson!
My sweet sister and brother-in-law welcomed baby #2 this week. Hudson William Crockett was born on Monday, August 17th. Lane was blessed with an uneventful delivery and a very healthy baby. We couldn't be happier for all of them. The distance is killing me, but we're enjoying pictures and phone calls in the meantime. Hoping we can meet this precious little one soon!

State Fair 2015
It was a gorgeous afternoon to visit the State Fair. The kids enjoyed playing putt-putt in the the Kids Zone, eating ice cream from the Dairy Barn, getting their first Lemon Shake-Up, petting lots of animals, riding the ponies and climbing up and down the tractors. Such a great way to wrap up the week!

Fun Night Out
Alivia and Drew were invited to spend the evening with Brayden, Blake and Annabel last weekend. They were so excited they watched the clock all day! They had a blast swimming, fishing and roasting marshmallows. And they each caught several fish using hot dogs as bait! :) Thanks for having them over!

OSU
I just realized I forgot to post some pics from our stop at Ohio State University. On our way home from Cleveland, we decided to drive through the campus. Brad and I had never been, so we just thought it might be neat to see. We were able to walk around the outside of the football stadium, which is home to the reigning NCAA Champions. It seemed so big! I can't imagine how loud it gets at game time. We also stopped by the baseball field. To our surprise we were able to not only get in, but get on the field too! Brad was pretty excited. We took a few pictures then headed back home.

Meet Jersey!
After lots of consideration, we finally decided to get a dog! To be honest, I've been the only reason we've waited so long. Brad and the kids have wanted to add a pet to our family for a very long time. I've been hesitant for many reasons, but when this one came to the Hancock County Animal Shelter the price was right and she appeared to be a good fit for all of us. Jersey is a 2 year old, miniature golden doodle. She was surrendered by owner because their house was infested with fleas. She lost quite a bit of fur on her back from scratching and the flea treatment, so she looked pretty pathetic. We've been pleasantly surprised at how well she's adjusted. She's very mellow, loves the kids, hasn't bothered anything at home (the legos are still on the floor untouched!) and enjoys being outside. The kids are at a great age to help too. They love to feed her, pick up after her and take her for walks. Although I've ran the vacuum more in the last week than I did the entire month prior, I'm enjoying her as well. (I'm thankful she sheds very little, if at all.) It was a bit easier knowing Daddy will be home earlier too. He's responsible for giving her baths. (Mommy isn't use to an inside dog so she's had three in the first week!) We're happy to have her as part of our family!

Great Papaw is 91!
Happy Birthday to the BEST Great Papaw! It was such a joy to spend the day with him yesterday. He's been so instrumental in making Brad the man he is today and is without a doubt the best grandfather I've ever had. We love you and look forward to another great year!

Six Years Old
It's so hard to believe it's already been six years for this little guy. He's always entertaining, up to something and cute as can be! We were so blessed the day you completed our family, Drew.

Celebrating Drew
It was an afternoon of fun to celebrate Drew's 6th birthday. He was spoiled with loads of new toys from family and loved every minute.
Here were a few highlights:
* Lots of outdoor toys! Fishing pole, bow and darts, badminton set, baseball glove, binoculars and basketball to name a few. We'll be busy!
* New clothes for school. He already has an outfit picked out for school tomorrow.
* Great Papaw was able to make it too. After four days of radiation about 10 days ago, he still felt well enough to be here. He's such a blessing to us!
* Mamaw's chocolate cake - It's Drew's favorite and although it's not at all made from scratch, he's just sure she makes it better than me. He called her this week to see if she'd make him one.
* Playing in the backyard with Daddy and Uncle Craig. I'm pretty sure the big boys enjoyed the toys as much as Drew. :)
Opening presents...we're looking forward to a family game of badminton. Thanks, Nanny & Papaw!
Drew's favorite chocolate cake with hot wheels, too.
Our favorite (almost) 6 year old!
Peyton & Alivia - They followed each other everywhere!
One happy boy! Thanks to all for celebrating with us today.
