Ballers

This weekend has been filled with basketball games.  We went to Mt. Vernon last night and saw the Marauders lose by three in quadruple overtime. Yes, four overtimes!!  Today both Alivia and Drew had games at Best Choice Fieldhouse in Fishers.  Unfortunately, we ended up 0-2 today.  This evening we decided to go watch the Warren Central game.  The Warriors are on a roll and fun to watch.  Tomorrow Drew plays at Best Choice and then we'll travel to Carmel for Alivia's two games.  By the time the weekend is over, we'll have seen nine games!  It's a crazy time of year, but we love it.  I should also mention Drew's winter workouts begin for baseball tomorrow, too. ;)

Mutts Gone Nuts

Brad bought us tickets to see Mutts Gone Nuts at Warren Central last evening.  We all laughed and enjoyed the tricks performed by the dogs.  The kids are just sure they can teach Jersey a few now. ;)

Drew's New Look :)

This kid was so excited to get his haircut last week.  We've been letting it grow out for quite some time and he's wanted this look for months.  Brad said he smiled from ear to ear for at least 10 minutes when they left the shop.  He's the cutest!

MV Girls Basketball

After lots of thought, we decided to let Alivia play up a grade for basketball this year.  I'm not sure that was the best decision, but we're hopeful she'll learn lots and enjoy playing with these girls.  Unfortunately we found out two days before the first game that this isn't a 4th grade league, but a 5th grade division.  Clearly our girls are undersized and outmatched in most every position.  They decided to also play in a Sunday league that is only 4th grade teams.  We won two games there last week, so the girls were thrilled.  We're crossing our fingers they continue to improve and have fun!

Christmas w/the Morgan's

Our last Christmas gathering was at Nanny and Papaw's house this past Sunday.  We went to lunch and then out to the house for our gift exchange and a little Colts football.  The kids were again spoiled and walked away with far too much.  I didn't seem to get many pictures, but the few that I did were cute.  Grandpa opens his gifts so fast (and often doesn't tell us he's started) that I never capture it on camera.  I guess when you're 92, you don't want to waste any time waiting around on others. :)  Thanks for an enjoyable afternoon!
Peyton liked his Thomas train set.
Ayla loves music and dancing so this was perfect.  She was so cute watching it move. :)
One of Alivia's fun crafts to do.  She started right away!
Drew's NFL laser peg set!

New Year's Eve

Bowling, dinner and lots of fun games was the way we chose to spend our New Year's eve.  We loved the time with the Greulich's and Manship's.  Most of the kids even made it till midnight!  I think this is a first for Alivia and Drew.  Happy New Year!
