January in Indiana

You've got to love the 60 degree days in January.  We've had a beautiful weather weekend and loved getting Jersey outside to play and go for a walk.  It sure makes us wish spring was around the corner, but I'm thinking we've got awhile yet. Until then, we'll enjoy this!

Anderson's Birthday Party

The kids are having a blast at Caleb and Kaitlyn's birthday party.  They are swimming at the Carmel Monon Center.  Brad and I are enjoying a little quiet time while they play and are secretly hoping they'll be worn out when the party is over.  :)

Girls Night

Alivia has been asking to have some girlfriends over for months.  Her December birthday makes it so difficult because everyone is busy.  Last Friday night Drew was invited to spend the evening at the batting cages with a friend from school, so we decided to have a girls night for Alivia.  She loved every minute!  We went out for pizza, had fun bowling and treated them to ice cream.  I couldn't believe how loud a car gets with five, eight year old girls!  Thankfully Brad joined us for dinner and bowling so I had some company.  We're thrilled to be able to do this for Alivia and so happy she's making such good friends.

Colts vs. Titans

It's not everyday you get asked to go on the field at Lucas Oil Stadium.  We jumped at the offer and loved every minute.  The kids took a football so they could say they played catch in the end zone with Daddy, too.  Pretty cool experience and one we'll always remember!  So thankful for these opportunities.  And we're always excited when the Colts win!
1st family pic of 2016

Alivia was excited to get autographs from 10 Colts cheerleaders.

Every seat had a Colts hat!  We needed them, too.  It was a cold walk to the car.
My friend Amber and her family were also able to go.  This is her little girl, Lauren.  Alivia enjoyed sitting next to her during the game.
Robert Mathis getting the team fired up before the start.
A nice tribute to the 12th man for the last home game of the season.
Vinatieri and McAfee may have been the only constant for the Colts this year.  They're always fun to watch.

New Year's Eve

We celebrated the end of 2015 with the Greulich's.  The kids had a blast bowling then we headed back to their house for snacks and games.  We could only convince the kids to play two games of Uno Attack, then they watched a movie and settled down a bit.  The parents enjoyed games way too late.  We looked at the clock at one point and it was already 11:30!  We came home before the ball dropped to avoid being on the road after midnight, but we all had a great evening.  I've posted some highlights after the pics from our busy year.

Cam was so excited to take a turn!

2015 Highlights
* Drew started Kindergarten - This means I'm home part of the week all alone.  It was a change, but I'm finding plenty to keep me busy.
* Alivia and Drew played spring and fall ball this year.  Alivia also made the All-Star team.
*  Alivia finished the first grade with straight A's.
*  Daddy left APA to take a job at Warren Central.  We LOVE having him home earlier!
*  Mommy had surgery.  My Mother's day trip to the ER was not really a highlight, but I recovered quickly and we're so thankful it was nothing worse.
*  Drew had his tonsils and adenoids removed in June.  This put our summer on hold for a bit, but Drew has been so much healthier!  We definitely made the right decision by having this done.
*  Jersey joined our family.
*  We took a vacation to Disney World!
*  Guided Rescue has been very profitable.  We're hopeful for more business in 2016.
